Thebes

The Open Grid Forum has published a specification describing a resource selection service. This specification has been recommended to the Thebes project as a candidate for the architecture of our Resource Description Language. As far as it goes, the principles it lays out appear to be on point; we need to be able to request resources that meet our needs and receive in return an ordered list of possible matches.

Please review this document and comment on the applicability. It will be discussed on the May 29th teleconference.

I have also added an outline for those who do not want to read the entire Specification. While this appears to provide an example mechanism, the Simple Candidate Ordering Schema does not appear to be complete. Comments are requested.
